What a big square needs

Cropping to square

Almost no camera shoots square, so the image will be cut on two sides. Tell us which part must stay in frame, and we crop around the subject rather than to the centre by default.

Where a square this size hangs

Above a square or round table, centred on a chimney breast, or alone on a short wall. It fights a long horizontal wall, where a wide panel would sit better.

How much of my photo will be cropped?

Two sides, since a square is cut from a rectangular image. Tell us what must remain in frame and we will crop around it.

Is it scratch-proof?

No. Acrylic marks more easily than glass, particularly on a large panel that gets dragged while positioning. Clean with a soft, dry cotton cloth only.

Will it yellow over time?

Not under normal indoor use. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight on a panel this size.

Is it waterproof?

No. Keep it away from water and steady moisture, so avoid damp walls. A smaller square is the photo acrylic frame.
