Engraved Wood Award Plaque Photo Gift

An engraved wood award plaque has a job most display pieces never face. It gets carried across a stage, handed over, held up and photographed, usually within a minute.

What that rules out

Glass, acrylic panels and anything with a fitted front. All of them reflect stage lighting, and all of them are a risk when passed between two people.

Why solid wood suits the moment

16 mm timber has weight, which reads as significant when it is handed over. There is no glass to catch the lights and nothing to come loose. Other award formats sit in our wooden achievement plaque range.

The material

16 mm natural wood with a smooth finished surface, engraved by a high-precision laser for sharp, fade-resistant detail.

The wooden certificate at a glance

• 16 mm natural wood
• No glass, nothing to reflect
• Sizes 8×6, 10×8 and 12×8 inches
• Tabletop stand included
• Logo, name and award title engraved

Designing for a photograph

Stage pictures are taken from several metres away. A short award title set large will read in them. A paragraph will not.

Ordering for a whole ceremony

Bulk orders are accepted, with one design and varying names. Send the name list as text rather than typing them one at a time. See our wood plaque certificate range.

After the event

It stands on a desk or mounts on a wall, so it does not need a fitting bought separately. Record an unboxing video when the parcel arrives, because it is what a replacement request depends on.

Common questions about wooden certificates

Is there glass on the plaque?

No. The design is engraved directly into the wood, so there is no glass to reflect stage lighting or break when the award is handed over.

Can we order one design with different names?

Yes. Bulk orders are accepted for ceremonies and corporate events, with the layout kept consistent and the names varied.

Can our logo be engraved?

Yes, along with the recipient’s name, the award title, a date and signatures.

Is a stand included?

Yes, a tabletop stand comes as standard, with a wall-mount option on request. Related pieces sit in our engraved wooden plaques range.
