Scan the certificate flat, at the highest quality your scanner offers. A phone photograph works if it is taken square on in bright, even light.

Seals and embossed marks

Can signatures be engraved?

Yes. Send a clear, flat scan in good light. Fine strokes are the hardest part to hold, so scan quality matters more here than anywhere else on the certificate.

Will an embossed seal show?

Only faintly, since a raised seal has little contrast to read. Tell us if it is important and we will find the best way to include it.

Can I see a preview?

Yes. A digital preview is shared for your approval before anything is engraved.

How should I clean it?
