Matte or glossy? A 5×7 laminated photo print comes with a matte finish as standard, and the reason is worth understanding before you ask for the alternative.
Matte against glossy
Glossy gives deeper blacks and slightly stronger colour. Matte gives none of that and takes something more useful in return: it does not reflect the light in the room. A wall display option is our laminated photo wall display listing.
Glossy suits a controlled space with soft light. Matte suits an ordinary room with a ceiling light, a window and somebody standing in front of it.
Why matte is the default here
