Panoramic canvas photo print usually starts with a wall rather than a photograph. The long empty stretch above a sofa or a headboard, which nothing of a normal shape ever quite fills.
Panoramic against a standard shape
A standard rectangle hung above a three-seater leaves a metre of blank wall on either side. A panoramic piece runs with the furniture instead of sitting apart from it.
As a rule the canvas should be around two thirds the width of what sits below it. Narrower looks lost, and wider starts to overhang awkwardly at both ends.

What does not work
A portrait cropped down to a strip. The subject ends up in the middle with empty space either side, and no amount of good printing rescues that arrangement.

How wide should it be above a sofa?
Roughly two thirds the width of the sofa is the usual rule.
Can a normal photo be made panoramic?
Only by cropping, which loses the top and bottom. A photograph shot wide is far better.
Is it supplied ready to hang?
The framed canvas option comes with a wooden frame. Print only is supplied unframed.
Can basic editing be done?
Basic editing and colour correction are available on request, with further editing at extra cost.
