A custom photo printed t-shirt for men is made using DTF printing. The name means little to most buyers, but the method explains why the result looks and feels the way it does.

What DTF actually means

Direct to Film. The design is printed onto a film first, then transferred onto the fabric with heat. The image is not printed straight onto the cotton.

Choosing the fit

How it feels to wear

The print occupies the surface of the fabric, so the design is detectable by touch. That is entirely normal for this method, and it is precisely what preserves the colour intensity.

Why the print needs care

What printing method do you use?

High-quality DTF printing, which produces vibrant colours, sharp detail and durable prints when the shirt is cared for properly.

Can I feel the print on the shirt?

Slightly, yes. The design sits on the fabric surface, which is normal for this printing method and is what keeps the colours strong.

Does it work on dark shirts?

Yes. Colour prints at full strength on black and navy as well as on white.

Can I iron the shirt?

Not on the print. Turn it inside out, use low heat, and avoid direct contact with the design.

Can both sides be printed?
