Turning the A3 on its side

Most photographs are taken in landscape and then squeezed into an upright frame, which loses whatever was happening at either end. Ordering the frame in the orientation the picture was actually taken in removes that problem before it starts. Open the original file first, decide whether the composition is genuinely wider than it is tall, and choose accordingly.
