Can you engrave from an old printed photograph?

Yes. Send the largest, flattest copy you can make of it. We check every image before production and will tell you if it will not hold at this size.

What if the old photo is damaged?

Send it anyway. Minor marks often disappear in engraving, because the laser reads broad contrast rather than fine surface detail.

Can text be engraved with it?

Yes. A name, a date, a quote or a short message can be engraved alongside the photograph.

Is the engraving waterproof?

No. It is for indoor display, so keep it away from water and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. A related option is the custom photo wood plaque.
