Magic Mug with Photo Custom Made

Magic mug with photo does something no other mug in this range does. Cold, it is a plain black cup. Pour a hot drink into it and the photograph appears.

A magic mug against a printed one

A printed mug shows its picture permanently and is judged the moment it is unwrapped. A magic mug shows nothing until the first cup of tea, which makes the gift happen twice.

How it works

• Cold a plain black or purple surface
• Hot the coating clears and the photograph shows
• Material high-quality ceramic
• Colours available in black and purple
• Care soft sponge and mild detergent, nothing abrasive
• Also searched as colour changing mug, gift for her or hidden photo mug

Bright ones with strong contrast. The image appears through a dark coating, so a dim photograph struggles to read even once the mug is fully hot.

Looking after the coating

The coating is the whole product, so abrasive scrubbers and steel wool are the one thing to avoid absolutely. A soft sponge keeps it doing what it is meant to do.

Giving it

Say nothing when it is handed over. Half the effect depends on the recipient discovering it themselves with the first hot drink.

A romantic alternative

How it arrives

Made to order and packed carefully for transit. A damaged mug is replaced on an unboxing video recorded while the parcel is opened.

Photo mug questions, answered

What colours do magic mugs come in?

Black and purple.

Does the photo show when the mug is cold?

No. It appears when a hot drink is poured in and fades again as it cools.

Bright ones with strong contrast, since the image appears through a dark coating.

How should it be cleaned?

A soft sponge and mild detergent. Abrasive scrubbers damage the coating.
