Getting three diamonds level

It crops all four corners hard. Keep each subject centred, since anything near an edge is the first thing the shape removes.

What the metal studs need from the wall

Each panel takes four studs, one per corner, which hold it a few millimetres clear of the wall. Plaster and drywall take them without trouble. Tile and concrete need a proper fixing first. Text can be printed on any of the three panels, and a year on one reads better than text on all three.
