Heart Engraved Wood Photo Frame

A heart engraved wood photo frame is cut to shape, and that shape decides how much of your photograph survives. It crops far more aggressively than a rectangle.

What a heart removes

The corners go entirely, the widest point sits across the middle, and the base narrows to a point. Anything at the edges of your photograph will not be there.

Which photographs survive it

A close portrait with the face central. Two people cheek to cheek. What fails is a wider shot where the subjects sit apart, since the shape cuts inward exactly where the gap is. Rectangular pieces sit in our engraved wooden photo plaque range.

Premium 16 mm natural wood, cut to shape and laser engraved for a fade-resistant finish.

Why a shaped piece costs you image

Every shaped cut removes surface that a rectangle would have kept. That is the trade: the object becomes more distinctive, and the photograph inside it becomes smaller and more tightly framed.

Tell us what must stay

Say which part of the image has to remain in frame and we will position the crop around it rather than centring by default.

Where the text goes

A shaped piece has less straight edge to work with, so wording is usually set below the image rather than along a side.

Other shapes

For something between a heart and a rectangle, see the square wooden photo frame. For bigger quantities we quote bulk pricing separately.

Wooden photo print questions, answered

How much of my photo is cropped?

The corners and the outer edges. Tell us which part must stay in frame and we will crop around that rather than to the centre.

What shapes are available?

Several, including hearts, squares and rectangles. Ask which shapes are offered in the size you want.

Can two people fit on a heart?

Yes, if they are close together in the original photograph. A wider shot loses too much to the shape.

Is it waterproof?

No. It is an indoor keepsake, so keep it away from water and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. A related option is the heart shaped wooden photo.
