Square Engraved Wood Photo Frame

A square engraved wood photo frame asks for a different photograph than a rectangular one. Almost nothing is shot square, so the image will be cut on two sides before anything is engraved.

What a square crop does

It trims the long edges of the original. On a portrait that usually means losing headroom or the lower body. On a landscape it removes the sides, which is often where the context was.

Which images suit it

Is the engraving waterproof?
