20 x 20 Inch Photo Print
20 x 20 inch photo print raises a question that catches people out after the order rather than before it. What exactly happens to a rectangular photograph when it becomes a square?
The full frame against a square crop
A standard photograph is roughly three units by four. Made square, a quarter of the long side disappears, and that quarter often contains somebody’s shoulder or the edge of the scene.
On the sides of a landscape photograph, and on the top and bottom of a portrait one. A subject already sitting near an edge is the one most likely to suffer.
