A5 Certificate Print

An A5 certificate print measures 148×210 mm and is the size institutions order in volume. Upload your own certificate design or send the details, and each one is printed in full colour with the recipient’s name, the title, a date and a serial number.

What A5 is normally used for

Participation, attendance and completion. Sports days, workshops, seminars and short training courses, where several hundred go out at once and each one is handed over rather than framed. It is the size that keeps the unit cost down without looking like a printout. For a single award rather than a run, an engraved wood certificate is the alternative.

What drives the price

Quantity first, then paper, then finishing. Moving from 250 GSM matte to 280 GSM linen textured costs more per sheet than adding a hundred more certificates does. Lamination and framing are the two options that change the figure most, so decide those before comparing quotes.

A5 against A4

A5 is half an A4 sheet. For a certificate kept in a folder or a file, it is enough. A4 at 210×297 mm reads better framed on an office wall and holds a larger logo, and A3 at 297×420 mm is for the award presented on a stage. See our A4 certificate printing.

Proofing before a long run

A digital proof is shared for your approval, and we print only once you confirm it. On a run of several hundred that step matters more than anything else on this page, because a misspelt course title is not a reprint of one sheet. The larger ceremonial size is our A3 certificate printing.
