Square Flyer 203×203 mm Printed to Order
Unlike a rectangular sheet, a square flyer at 203×203 mm has no long edge to lead the eye, so the layout has to be built round the centre. That is 8×8 inches, printed full colour on 130 GSM art paper, front only or front and back. Upload your own artwork in JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF.
What a square does to a layout
A rectangle tells the reader where to start. A square does not, which is why square flyers work best with one strong central image and very little text around it. Designers either love the format or find it awkward, and both reactions are about that missing direction.

Where the square earns its keep
Social media. A square flyer is the same proportion as an Instagram post, so a single piece of artwork works printed and posted without any recropping. For a campaign running in both places simultaneously, that saves an entire design round. A conventional rectangle instead is our A5 flyer.
Lamination on a square
Glossy or matte lamination is optional, and it does more here than on a rectangle. A square is usually handed to somebody rather than pinned up, so the corners take the wear. Matte photographs better under shop lighting, while glossy lifts saturated colour considerably. Any dimension you like is available in our custom flyers listing.
The smaller square
140×140 mm costs less and slips inside a bag or a box as an insert, which the 8×8 square does not. Your uploaded artwork is deleted from our system once the order is dispatched. See our 140×140 mm square flyer.
