A3 Certificate Print

When a certificate is handed across a stage and photographed, A3 is the size that reads from the back of the hall. An A3 certificate print measures 297×420 mm. Upload your own design, and the name, title, date and signatures are printed in full colour on certificate paper.

The size that is meant to be seen

A3 exists for a different job from the other two. It is presented rather than posted, photographed rather than filed, and usually printed in ones and twos rather than hundreds. Employee of the year, a retirement, a major award, a founder’s recognition.

What that changes about the order

Nothing about the price per sheet matters much when the run is three. What matters is the paper and the frame, because this one goes on a wall and stays there. Linen textured or ivory stock with a black or brown frame is the usual specification. The everyday size is our A4 certificate printing.

Framed here or framed later

A black or brown frame ordered with the certificate arrives ready to present. Framing it afterwards means finding an A3 frame locally, which is less common on a shelf than A4. A carved alternative for a major award is our wooden achievement plaque.

Proof it before you print it

A digital proof is shared for your approval, and nothing prints until you confirm. Check the spelling of the recipient’s name against a written record rather than from memory. It is the single most common correction on certificates.

A3 against A4 and A5

A4 at 210×297 mm is the standard for anything issued in numbers. A5 at 148×210 mm is the volume size for participation runs, and it sits in our A5 certificate printing listing.
