A bi fold brochure is one sheet folded down the centre, which gives four panels: a front, a back and two inside pages. It is the simplest fold we print. Upload your own artwork, or send the text and images and our design team can build the layout, for an additional design charge.
Where four panels are the right amount
Four panels hold one service, one product range or a short company profile. A cover image, a page of detail, a short price list and your contact block will fill the space without crowding it. Six panels are available on the tri fold brochure if you need more room.

The four paper weights
You can choose 100 GSM standard paper, or art paper at 130, 170 or 250 GSM. The heavier the sheet, the more firmly the fold holds its shape in a rack. Art paper also carries colour better, which matters when the cover is a full-bleed photograph.
A bi fold against a z fold
Both use one sheet. A bi fold opens like a card and reads as two spreads. A z fold brochure opens as a strip, so it suits a sequence rather than two separate pages. Choose by how your content is shaped, not by price.
Lamination, and what it does not do
Glossy or matte lamination is available on request at additional cost. It adds surface protection and changes how the ink reads. It does not make the piece waterproof. Brochures are paper and should be kept away from water and excessive moisture, laminated or not.
Printing in more than one language

Are brochures waterproof?
No. They are not waterproof and should be kept away from moisture, even with lamination.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Single-sided and double-sided printing are both available.
