Planning the page count

Count in fours. Twelve pages, sixteen, twenty. If your content lands on fourteen you will either cut two pages or carry two blanks. Decide that at the layout stage rather than at the proof stage. A binding without the multiple-of-four rule is our wiro binding booklets.

Staple against wiro and glued at A5

Wiro binding lies flat and costs more. Soft cover binding gives a printed spine and takes more pages. Hard cover is unusual at A5. Staple pin is the lightest, cheapest and quickest of the four. See our soft cover A5 booklet.

When the parcel arrives

Check a copy from the middle of the box rather than the top one. If anything is damaged, record an unboxing video as you open the parcel, because that is what we need to arrange a replacement. The A4 version is our staple binding booklets.
