Most flyers handed out at a shop door or a college gate are A5, which is 148×210 mm, or half an A4 sheet. Printed full colour on 130 GSM art paper, front only or front and back. Upload your own artwork and order from ten copies upwards.

Why A5 wins on the street
It is big enough to read at arm’s length and small enough that people accept it without hesitating. An A4 sheet pushed at someone in the street usually goes straight into a bin, because it is awkward to carry. A5 goes into a bag.
How much fits on one
One offer, one image, one way to respond. Anything more competes with itself at this size. Put the detail on the back rather than shrinking the front, which is why front and back printing is worth the small extra on a hand-out. Portrait is the usual orientation, and optional glossy or matte lamination stiffens a sheet that will be carried about. The larger document size is our A4 flyer.
Ordering quantity for a distribution
Count the footfall, not the printing budget. A two-hour distribution outside a college gate is between three and five hundred flyers, and running out halfway is more expensive than over-printing by a hundred. A5 against DL
